………………………

Well…another racing season has come to an end. A little sad isn’t it?

Not-so-much…think of it this way. We have ALL winter to get ready for next season. We can get all our heads on straight again and start with a new slate. Erase our spinouts…wiped-out cones (glad they’re so soft and forgiving or we’d all be in the body shop each and every week).

YA, there’s at least one of those spinouts that I’d like to forget…a 56MPH power slide across the finish line last Sunday. (REALLY, 56mph…on the radar gun and my wife captured it on the video camera) With all that undeniable proof, there is simply no way I can deny it. There are 4 distinct cone silhouettes on the side of the Supra to prove it too. I just have one thing to say…THANKS BUDDY. He knows who he is. One of my friends (I thought) told me that it was full throttle all the way through to the finish line. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it…LOL.

I must have made Carl proud of that one. For anybody that doesn’t know…Carl’s tag line reads:

“Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely and in one pretty piece - - -  but to skid across the line
broadside
throughly used up
worn out
shouting
"GERONIMO"

Sorry Carl but I just forgot to yell “GERONIMO”. I was yelling all right but it wasn’t that…my passenger was yelling the same word as me in stereo as if we planned it……… Only kidding LEO. By the way, sorry if I freaked you out there.

Ok, enough about the fun stuff. Oh, by the way, speaking of FUN…thank you JEREB ALLEN for a far out course…last one of the season and I never heard anyone bad talking you. It was greasy as all get out in the morning session due to the “COLD” temps. By the afternoon traction was considerably better and the FUN FACTOR took a proportional leap up. I saw a lot of smiling faces all day long. So here’s my official pat on the back, job well done and an “ATTA-BOY”. See, I told you Dude,” No pressure”. Nice job Jereb, you can breathe again.

Wait a minute…did I just say enough about the fun stuff? Sorry. What was I thinking? The whole season was fun. I don’t expect anything less for next year. We are all inherently adrenaline junkies and I fully intend to get my share of the fun next season.

Keep watching here for updates. The board has a few surprises planned for next season. Everything is hush-hush and very top secret…Not really; things just have to get finalized before I can let you all in on it. All I can say right now with any certainty is, “It’s gonna be another adrenaline filled season of FUN”.

Soooooo, get your cars tuned and ready for next season.

Happy Racing.
